Alas, now I want to trade Berkeley for Venice, my car for a gondola, and a Saturday night for a warm summer dusk. I want to walk along the piazza in a red dress, catch the sight of well dressed men in plain view, speak in tongues of a romance language, and feel the burning desire to capture the flight of birds against the darkening sky.
